Alpena County Library open to public at Bear Pointe Plaza

As of today, the Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library’s Bear Pointe Plaza location will be open for browsing, material check-out, and public computer use. Appointments will no longer be needed to come into the building. A maximum of five patrons will be allowed in the building at one time. Computers may be used for a maximum of two hours each day per patron and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Copying and printing services will also be available for a small fee.

Service hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Patrons will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing to keep other patrons and staff members safe. Minors under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult. Curbside pickup will still be available.
