Recent actions by law enforcement agencies in Northeast Michigan. This has been only lightly edited.

June 14

1:27 a.m.: Hillman Fire/EMS and deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Pleasant Valley Rd near Hayes Rd. No one was injured. A citation was issued for violating the basic speed law.

12:17 p.m.: A welfare check on a resident of Vienna Township was requested; a Deputy responded to the residence to find the subject fine, deputy cleared without incident.

2:02 p.m.: A welfare check on a resident of Albert Township was requested by a neighbor; the subject was contacted and at work.

2:45 p.m.: An adjoining county had a subject in their custody who had a warrant out of Montmorency County; a deputy responded to pick the subject up and bring him back to MCSO jail, he was lodged.

June 15

3:13 a.m.: A call came into dispatch about a rollover in Hillman Township; Hillman Fire and EMS responded along with Deputies. The driver was found to be fine and all units cleared without incident.

8:17 a.m.: An adjoining jurisdiction had a subject in custody that had a warrant out of Montmorency County, deputies picked subject up and he was lodged.

11:09 a.m.: PIE&G called to report that they got a call about a tree on their primary power line in Montmorency Township, Hillman Fire responded to the scene and stayed until PIE&G could arrive.

11:26 a.m.: A welfare check was requested on a subject in Vienna Township; the subject was found to be fine.

5:18 p.m.: A resident of Vienna Township called to report a large black plume of smoke at his neighbors, in the area where the car is usually parked, Vienna Fire, Tri Township Fire along with law enforcement all responded to the scene. It was found to be a lawn mower on fire, the fire was put out and all departments cleared without incident.

8:11 p.m.: A Deputy responded to a call from Albert Township about a possible trespassing incident; investigation is on-going.

June 16

1:09 a.m.: An officer took a report of a deer vehicle accident in Loud Township; the driver was not injured. Deputy cleared without incident.

9:43 p.m.: Tri Township Fire responded for a smoke investigation near Pleasant Valley Rd X Haas Rd. A brush fire was located on Pleasant Valley Rd. All units cleared at 10:17 p.m.:.

June 17

12:12 a.m.: Deputies responded to a dispute on Mary Ann Dr in Albert Township. A 40 year old male from Lewiston was arrested and lodged.

June 18

9:37 a.m.: A deputy responded to a commercial burglar alarm in Briley Township, the delivery man set the alarm off; the deputy cleared without incident.

9:50 a.m.: After court a female was brought to MCSO jail to serve her 15-day sentence.

4:53 p.m.: Multiple calls referencing a black 4-wheeler that was driving erratically in Lewiston resulted in deputies responding; the ATV was no longer in town but officers are on the lookout for it.

8:12 p.m.: A resident from Hillman Township called the MCSO about an ORV trail stop sign that was down in the Hillman area; the complaint was passed to the DNR.

8:56 p.m.: Deputies responded to a trespassing complaint in Briley Township; the subjects were given a verbal warning. Officers cleared without incident.

9:50 p.m.: Two calls came into the dispatch center about vehicles driving erratically in Albert Township; Deputies responded to the area to patrol for the vehicles.

June 19

1:11 a.m.: A Deputy responded to a deer vehicle accident in Hillman Township; Officer took the report and cleared without incident. The driver and passenger involved were found to be fine.

1:59 p.m.: Dispatch received many calls from disgruntled Albert Township residents referencing the noise in Lewiston this weekend. Deputies were in town throughout the weekend patrolling. Loud cars were the main complaint, along with cars tearing up the road.

6:37 p.m.: Deputies patrolled in Albert Township for a good portion of the evening because of the numerous complaints about the loud vehicles and the vehicles tearing up the roads.

10:27 p.m.: Dispatch received various calls about campfires and burning in Briley and Albert Township this weekend; a reminder to check the DNR Burn advisories online or by calling the DNR or MCSO before you have a fire and take proper needed measures to prevent fires getting out of control.

11:33 p.m.: DNR officers initiated a traffic stop in Briley Township; the driver was arrested for OWI and lodged at MCSO jail. Officers cleared without incident.

June 20

12:20 a.m.: A deer vehicle accident took place in Hillman Township; all subjects in the vehicle were found to be fine. A Deputy took the report.

10:25 a.m.: While taking another complaint a deputy came upon a deer vehicle crash, no injuries were reported.

4:11 p.m.: A fireman came upon a fire that was not put out on state land, he contacted a fireman to bring the fire truck out to put the fire out.

5:39 p.m.: A citizen of Albert Township gave a Deputy a wallet that was found in Lewiston, the owner was contacted to pick up his wallet.

6:25 p.m.: A deer vehicle accident was called into dispatch in Albert Township; a Deputy responded to take the report. The driver was not injured and the officer cleared without incident.
