May 3

2:33 p.m.: A dispute among family members was reported to Dispatch, Deputies responded. The family member in question had left the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival.

May 4

8:53 a.m.: A welfare check was requested on a resident of Briley Township; deputies went to the residence; found the female to be fine. Officers cleared without incident.

May 5

1:41 a.m.: Deputies responded to a complaint in Briley Township about a disturbance at an elderly resident’s home. Officers found the home and surrounding area to be secure and cleared without incident.

May 6

8:43 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of animal abuse in Albert Township; animals were seized and brought to ECAS. Investigation is ongoing.

May 7

7:58 a.m.: A Deputy responded to a residential burglar alarm in Hillman Township; the residence was found to be secure. The officer cleared without incident.

9:06 a.m.: A destruction of property complaint was called into the dispatch center, an MSP Trooper in the area took the complaint.

2:50 p.m.: Multiple 911 calls came into the center regarding the caution light at the intersection of Co Rd 451 and Lake Avalon Rd. The Road Commission was notified.

9:27 p.m.: Dispatch received various calls about an intoxicated driver in Hillman Village, deputies responded to the complaint. Driver was arrested for OUID, resisting an officer and child endangerment. Female subject was lodged at MCSO jail. Officers cleared without incident.

9:29 p.m.: An elk and vehicle accident on M-33 North was reported to Dispatch; Deputy responded. Driver involved in the accident sustained no injuries. Officer cleared without incident. A DNR officer came to pick up the deceased elk.

11:14 Deputies responded to a dispute in Briley township; the suspect fled prior to officers arriving on scene; investigation is ongoing.

May 8

11:34 p.m.: A resident of Montmorency Township called to report vandalism to his property. The caller stated this has been ongoing. Deputies were advised and investigation is ongoing.

May 9

6:47 a.m.: An erratic driver was called into the department; a Deputy responded and located the vehicle; a traffic stop was initiated. The driver stated he was tired but was almost home. Deputy cleared without incident.

9:21 a.m.: A resident of Hillman Township called referencing a subject at a family members residence, Deputies responded to the scene. The male subject was found to have a warrant and was arrested and lodged on the warrant.

6:55 p.m.: An Albert Township resident contacted Dispatch about trespassers on his property; an officer responded to the call but the subjects had left prior to law enforcement’s arrival.

9:53 p.m.: Deputies responded to a dispute at a Hillman Village establishment; one male subject arrested on felonious assault charges and lodged at MCSO. Officers cleared without incident.
