Courtesy Photo Fire blasts through a home near Harrisville on Friday in this photo shared by the Alcona County Sheriff’s Office. Police and fire responders were called to the house on Clark Road about 8 a.m. Monday, to find the house fully engulfed. Three occupants were evacuated by Alcona County Sheriff’s Office deputies. Two of the occupants were taken to MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena and later transferred to a hospital in Flint with serious injuries. Fire crews from Harrisville, Lincoln, Greenbush, and Mikado fire departments fought the blaze. The Alcona County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
