March 1
6:04p.m.: Subject in the lobby of MCSO reporting hitting a deer on M32 near Haas Rd. Minor damage to vehicle and no injuries were reported.
9:22 p.m.: 911 call reporting a Chevy Silverado went into the ditch on County Rd 459 in Hillman Township. MCSO Deputies along with Hillman Fire and EMS responded. Upon arrival both parties were out of the vehicle and no injuries were reported. A female was taken into custody for OWI. Female was lodged at MCSO jail.
March 3
3:44 p.m.: While on routine patrol an officer initiated a traffic stop, the driver was found to have a valid warrant out of Montmorency County, she was arrested and lodged at MCSO Jail.
4:39 p.m.: A welfare check on a friend was requested in Briley Township, the female was found to be fine and officers cleared without incident.
9:51 p.m.: A Deputy responded to a welfare check on a resident in Briley Township, the subject was found to be fine and officers cleared without incident.
March 4
11:50 a.m.: A family member called requesting a welfare check on his parents in Briley Township, contact was made with the parents. They were fine and stated they would contact their son.
12:37 p.m.: A Montmorency Township resident called to report a snow owl in his yard, he was concerned it was injured, DNR was notified.
March 5
6:42p.m.: A car/deer accident was reported on M-33 south of the Loud Township Hall. MCSO Deputy responded. No injuries were reported.
8:37 p.m.: MCSO Dispatch received a call regarding suspicious vehicle in the area of Thomas St. in Atlanta. MCSO Deputies patrolled the area on and off all night.
March 6
1:48 a.m.: MCSO Dispatch received a complaint of a domestic situation in Atlanta. MCSO Deputies responded and it is an ongoing investigation.
1:49 a.m.: MCSO Dispatch received a complaint of 4 individuals walking around the Lewiston Elementary School. MCSO Deputy responded. Deputy search area and did not find anyone on the school property.
March 7
6:03 p.m.: MCSO Dispatch received a call from a home owner in Vienna Township stating that their security camera has a male subject trespassing on their unoccupied property. MCSO Deputies responded to the area where they found the male subject walking down the road. Subject was found to have a concealed gun on his person. MCSO Deputies placed subject under arrest for felony possession of firearm and concealing pistol without permit. Subject was lodged at MCSO Jail.
