Feb. 22

1:47 a.m.: A 911 call reporting suspicious activity around the Northland Apartments in Briley Township. MCSO Deputy responded to the area.

6:45 p.m.: A vehicle accident involving a deer occurred in Rust Township; deputies responded, no one was injured.

10:30 p.m.: While on routine patrol, a MCSO Deputy initiated a traffic stop in Vienna Township; subject was arrested for operating under the influence. He is now lodged at MCSO jail. Deputies cleared without incident.

10:44 p.m.: Dispatch received a call about a potential domestic assault that took place earlier in the day; investigation is ongoing.

11:37 p.m.: While on routine patrol, a Deputy spotted a car with its hazard lights flashing and stopped to help and see what was going on; the subject had just been involved in an accident involving a deer. No one was injured; officer cleared without incident.

Feb. 23

12:44 a.m.: Deputies responded to a commercial alarm at Lewiston Ace Hardware; building was found to be secure; Deputies cleared without incident.

10:15 a.m.: Dispatch was notified of a deer that had been hit on Reimann Rd that wasn’t dead, a deputy responded and dispatched the deer.

10:57 p.m.: While on their way back from previous call, Deputies spotted a suspicious vehicle in Hillman Township. Officers initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle; the driver was found to be intoxicated and also driving on a suspended license. The subject was arrested and lodged. Deputies cleared without incident.

Feb 24

1:33 a.m.: A deputy responded to a deer vehicle accident in Hillman Township, no one was injured.

10:57 p.m.: A 911 call reporting a vehicle went off the road and into the trees on M-32 just east of Atlanta. MCSO Deputies, Tri Township Fire and EMS responded to the scene. Responders found a male driver standing outside his vehicle uninjured. Driver stated that the car had slid on ice and he lost control. All units cleared the scene without incident.

Feb. 25

11:43 p.m.: A 911 call to MCSO Dispatch reporting a house fire on Flagg Dr in Atlanta. Tri Township Fire, Hillman Fire, Albert Township Fire, Tri Township EMS and MCSO Deputies responded. All occupants were out of the home upon emergency services arrival and no injuries were reported.

Feb. 26

9:25 a.m.: A deer vehicle crash was reported to dispatch, a deputy responded to the scene to take the report.

10:55 a.m.: A male subject turned himself in on a warrant from another jurisdiction, he bonded out and was given court info.

10:13 p.m.: Deputies responded to a disturbance in Albert Township; officers transported the subject to MCSO lobby for his parents to come pick him up. Investigation is on-going.

Feb. 27

9:07 a.m.: A one vehicle crash was reported in Rust Township; the driver and passenger were transported to the hospital.

10:08 a.m.: A vehicle was reported in the ditch in Rust Township; a deputy responded. When the deputy arrived on scene the vehicle was no longer there.

10:51 a.m.: A resident of Montmorency Township called to report fishing gear had been stolen out of his ice shanty on Long Lake; DNR officer responded, investigation is ongoing at this time.

11:32 p.m.: While on routine patrol, Deputies initiated a traffic stop. The driver was found to be driving on a suspended license; subject was arrested and lodged. Officers cleared without incident.

Feb. 28

1:24 p.m.: A two vehicle crash with no injuries was reported in Briley Township. Tri Township Fire and EMS along with law enforcement responded to take the report and assess the victims of the crash. No one was transported to the hospital and all units cleared without incident.

7:24 p.m.: Dispatch received a call about a verbal dispute from a resident in Albert Township; Deputies responded, parties had separated before the officers arrived. Deputies located the other party involved and advised them to not return to the residence that the dispute took place for the evening and cleared without incident.

9:58 p.m.: Deputies looking into a domestic situation that took place in Hillman Township; investigation is ongoing.
