Feb. 17

2:32 p.m.: The family of a previous Avery Township resident called to report that the neighbor has been trespassing on the property. Caller was advised to post no trespassing signs and cameras.

3:57 p.m.: Multiple scams came into the department today; every scam is different. This is just to reinforce that you should never give your information to anyone on the phone. Montmorency County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch receives several new scams being reported weekly.

Feb. 18

10:50 a.m.: A deputy responded to a residential burglar alarm in Vienna Township, everything was found to be as it should be, officer cleared without incident.

12:19 p.m.: A civil standby was requested in Briley Township. A MCSO deputy responded.

7:45 p.m.: MCSO Deputies responded to an accident involving two vehicles in Albert Township near Winding Rd and Ellsworth; no one was injured. Officers cleared without incident.

8:15 p.m.: A resident of Hillman Village reported she was involved in a deer and vehicle accident on Farrier Rd and Hunt Rd, she was not injured. A Deputy responded, minor damage to vehicle.

10:30 p.m.: MCSO Deputies picked up a resident of Briley Township; subject was arrested and lodged. Deputies cleared without incident.

Feb. 21

11:25 p.m.: A 911 call reporting a single vehicle accident on County Rd 612 at the intersection of Fleming Rd. The caller reported that she slid off the road and struck a tree. MCSO Deputies, Albert Township Fire and EMS responded to the scene. Two female occupants were found with minor injuries; Albert Township EMS treated and released both females on scene. Deputies cleared without incident.
