The Presque Isle Board of Commissioners on Wednesday voted against a resolution that would have thrown the board's support behind a legislative effort to impeach Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
After listening to public comment from six residents, the commissioners voted down the resolution 3-2.
Commissioners Michael Darga, Carl Altman, and John Chappa voted against the resolution, while Lee Gapczynski and Nancy Shutes voted for it.
