A West Virginia man fired a shot in the air at an Onaway residence after threatening several people with guns, police reported.

Tony Raymond Brown, 58, was arrested after a report that he showed up at his ex-wife’s property on Saturday and pointed two pistols at several people while threatening them.

Brown fled the scene before police arrived but was stopped by Montmorency County Sheriff’s Department deputies on M-33 with two pistols in his possession.

Brown was charged with five counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of felony firearms. He was released on a $100,000 cash bond.
