Oct. 14

8:34 a.m.: A passerby called to report a truck broken-down at the intersection in downtown Atlanta, an officer responded to the scene for traffic control until a tow truck could get there.

11:01 a.m.: A resident of Briley Township called to report a female subject at a local boat launch was acting strangely, deputies responded to the scene, but the vehicle was gone upon their arrival.

5:02 p.m.: An erratic driver was called in; the driver was entering Alpena County, so the call was transferred to Alpena Central Dispatch.

11:33 p.m.: MCSO was advised of a residential burglar alarm on Co Rd 491 in Albert Township. Deputies responded to investigate. The residence was found to be secure and both units cleared without incident.

Oct. 15

11:20 a.m.: An alarm company called in a commercial burglar alarm in Briley Township, a deputy responded, a worker had accidentally set the alarm off; the officer cleared without incident.

2:15 p.m.: A resident of Rust Township came into the lobby to report an ongoing dispute with his neighbor, investigation is ongoing at this time.

Oct. 16

3:58 a.m.: Deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Co Rd 451 near Long Rapids Rd in Montmorency Township. A 43-year-old male was taken into custody for OWI. He was lodged.

4:07 a.m.: A report was made of an elk/vehicle accident on M-32 near Woodland Ave. No injuries were reported.

Oct. 17

9:27 a.m.: A stray border collie was found on the Thunder Bay Golf course. MCSO Deputy responded and dog was taken to ECAS.

12:40 p.m.: A vehicle/deer accident was reported on Meridian Line Rd near Bear Lake Rd. MSCO Deputy responded and no injuries were reported.

12:56 p.m.: Erratic driver was reported on CO RD 489 in Lewiston. MSCO Deputies were advised.

4:30 p.m.: A stray bulldog was brought to MCSO lobby to be turned into the ECAS. Deputy transported dog to the shelter.

10:31 p.m.: A report of a powerline down on Fleming Rd. Multiple 911 calls clarifying that it was a single vehicle accident. MSCO Deputies, Lewiston Fire/EMS and Presque Isle Power responded. Road was closed for a short period of time until crews could get the power lines off the road. MSCO deputies arrested one male subject on OWI.

Oct. 18

12:19 a.m.: A report of a power line down and on fire on County Rd 612 near Clinton Drive. Lewiston fire responded.

9:33 p.m.: A commercial alarm was called in by alarm company. MCSO Deputies responded and upon arrival found that business was still open and alarm was false.
