HARRISVILLE — A body was found floating in Hubbard Lake on Monday, the Alcona County Sheriff’s Department reported today.

Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting the discovery about 9 a.m. With assistance from Alcona Emergency Management Services and the South Shore Fire Department, deputies located the deceased man, who was identified as Lon Lizotte, 64, of Spruce.

The cause of death has not yet been determined, but deputies and the medical examiner are investigating the incident, police said.
