Sept. 7

5:50 a.m.: An Albert Township resident called to report his truck had been stolen out of his driveway. The vehicle was located in Otsego County, investigation is ongoing at this time.

10:51 a.m.: A Rust Township resident called to request a DNR CO to his residence, he had found a young eagle that had been shot. Investigation currently ongoing.

Sept. 8

7:26 p.m.: Dispatch was notified that vehicles were driving erratically in the parking lot behind the Hi-Way Inn, in the Village of Hillman. All deputies were advised.

9:42 p.m.: Deputies responded to a dispute at a residence on Co. Rd. 487 in Briley Township. It was found to be a verbal dispute only, and all parties were separated for the night.

9:49 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on M-32 near Francis Ave in Briley Township. All deputies were advised.

10:09 p.m.: MCSO received a trespassing and possible larceny complaint in Hillman Township. A deputy spoke with the reporting party, and this is under investigation.

Sept. 9

7:17 p.m.: A report of a car/deer accident was reported on County Rd 459 near the cemetery corner. MCSO Deputy responded and no injuries were reported.

Sept. 10

1:34 p.m.: A civil dispute was reported to MCSO Dispatch. A MSCO Deputy responded and both parties were separated.

3:53 p.m.: A report of vehicles tearing up S Mathews Rd and Winding Rd. was reported to the sheriff’s department, a MCSO Deputy responded to the area and found that all vehicles had left the scene.

Sept. 11

7:48 a.m.: While on his way to work a MCSO deputy stopped to assist a motorist that was having an issue with their vehicle, the subject fixed their vehicle, and everyone cleared without incident.

6:25 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a commercial burglar alarm on M-32 in the Village of Hillman. Deputies responded to investigate. They spoke with the manager and the building was found to be secure.

Sept. 12

7:12 a.m.: A resident of Briley Township called to report that last night a man attempted to gain entry to her home, he was intoxicated; the subject left the residence, no one was injured. An officer responded to the home, took the report and then spoke with the subject that attempted to enter, no one wanted to press charges, the officer cleared without incident.

Sept. 13

1:15 a.m.: Deputies responded to a noise complaint on Fleming Rd in Albert Twp.

2:29 a.m.: During a traffic stop of a 4-wheeler on Co Rd 612 in Albert Township a 42 year old male from Otsego County was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was lodged.

11:41 a.m.: A welfare request was called into the sheriff’s department; an officer checked the well- being of the individuals; everyone was found to be fine.

1:03 p.m.: A dispute was reported in Albert Township; one of the parties had already left the scene. A MCSO deputy spoke with all parties involved.
