OSSINEKE -- Nobody was hurt in a crash at the intersection of U.S.-23 and Nicholson Hill Road in Ossineke that slowed traffic briefly around noon Friday.
The driver of a silver pickup truck, westbound on Nicholson Hill Road, misjudging the distance of oncoming traffic, pulled into the intersection and was struck by a minivan travelling south on U.S.-23.
The minivan's front end was crushed, while the truck was dented on the passenger side. Paramedics from the Alpena Fire Department examined those involved, who were released with only minor seat belt injuries.
The Sanborn Township Fire Department and a Michigan State Police trooper also responded to the scene.
