The car’s driver, who was not injured, was blinded by the setting sun as she reached the end of Werth Road at M-65 in Green Township, police said. Barely missing a large tree, the car crashed over an embankment and plunged into foliage in front of a house. According to neighbors, the intersection has been the site of several other such incidents in recent years, with cars ending up in that house’s front porch or living room. A passenger in the car was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
