Another Alcona County resident recovers

ALPENA — Another Alcona County resident passed the 30-day benchmark since being diagnosed with with COVID-19, adding to that county’s tally of recovered cases today.

Other numbers around Northeast Michigan didn’t budge since Wednesday, with a total of 183 positive cases, 17 deaths, and 154 recoveries among Northeast Michigan residents who tested positive for the coronavirus in the region since mid-March.

Statewide, 109,519 people have tested positive, of whom 80,678 have recovered as of Friday, and 6,569 have died.

Northeast Michigan numbers updated today:

Positive tests: Alpena County residents, 118; Presque Isle County residents, 21; Montmorency County residents, 12; Alcona, 32.

Deaths: Alpena County residents, 14; Presque Isle County residents, 1; Montmorency County residents, 0; Alcona, 2.

Recoveries: Alpena County residents, 104; Presque Isle County residents, 19; Montmorency County residents, 8; Alcona County residents, 23.
