Teen nabbed for break-in in Alcona County
A teenager broke through the door of a grocery store in Alcona County and stole booze, police believe.
Alcona County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the Cedar Lake Grocery Store in Greenbush Township around 6 a.m. Saturday, where the front door was broken out and an intruder had stolen multiple liquor bottles.
Police called in a K-9 unit and eventually found the suspect, a 15-year-old male from Livonia, in a home nearby.
A juvenile petition request was sent to the county prosecutor regarding the teen, whose name has not been released.
