Aug. 10
12:35 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a suspicious vehicle near a residence on Co Rd 487 near Co Rd 489. A deputy drove through the area and saw nothing suspicious.
10:19 a.m.: MCSO Deputies received a report that ITC Holdings will have 2 helicopters in the air this week.
11:38 a.m.: MCSO Dispatch received a complaint of packages being stolen off a porch in Albert Township. Deputies will be on the lookout.
12:29 p.m.: MCSO Deputies responded to a civil dispute in Albert Township. One party left the scene prior to deputies arriving.
3:10 p.m.: MCSO Deputies responded to a verbal dispute in Briley Township. Parties were separated and deputies cleared.
3:16 p.m.: Erratic driver was reported to MCSO Dispatch traveling on M-32 near the Big Rock Church. MCSO Deputies were notified.
7:23 p.m.: A male subject arrived at MCSO Lobby to report that he found a male laying in the woods off Shingle Mill Rd in Montmorency Township. MCSO Deputies, MI State Police, Tri Township EMS responded. Male was found deceased; name of victim is being held until family is notified. Investigation is ongoing.
10:54 p.m.: A report of a car in the ditch on County Rd 612 just east of M33. MCSO Deputies responded and found car in ditch. One male subject was taken into custody for OUI.
Aug. 11
1:09 a.m.: A report came into MCSO Dispatch of a tree in the middle of the road in the eastbound lane. MCSO deputy responded and log was removed.
5:45 a.m.: Dispatch received a call of a stop sign being hit near Pleasant Valley Rd cross of Hall Rd. The vehicle was still there with no one in it. Complaint is still under investigation.
7:00 p.m.: An officer did a welfare check on a female on Pine Crest Circle in Hillman Township. The female was found to be OK.
9:30 p.m.: An officer responded to a report of an erratic driver on M-32 near Kellyville Rd. The vehicle was unable to be located.
Aug. 12
12:26 p.m.: Lewiston Fire Dept responded to a tree on a power line causing it to smoke. PIE&G was notified.
1:41 p.m.: An officer responded to a neighbor dispute on Timber Lane in Hillman Township.
3:51 p.m.: A welfare check was requested for a female on Mantz St in Albert Township. The female was at home and everything was fine.
8:11 p.m.: Officers responded to an assault on Dobbyn Rd in Avery Township. A 40-year-old male from Tennessee was arrested and lodged.
Aug. 13
5:10 p.m.: Hillman Fire Dept responded to a vehicle fire at the end of Ferguson Rd.
8:00 p.m.: A welfare check was requested for an elderly female on Beechler Rd in Briley Township. An officer found a female on the floor dehydrated and weak. Tri Township Ems responded and transported female to the hospital.
8:07 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a mailbox being hit and the suspect did not stop. Vehicle was located, incident is still under investigation.
9:36 p.m.: An officer responded to a commercial panic alarm at a business on M-33. Everything was found to be secure.
Aug. 14
10:04 a.m.: A female subject working in Hillman called to report a coworker assaulted her, MSP Trooper responded to the scene to take the report, investigation ongoing at this time.
11:29 a.m.: A deputy brought a subject to jail on probation violation to serve his sentence.
12:02 p.m.: A medical clinic in Lewiston called a welfare check on one of their patients, contact was made and subject was fine.
12:05 p.m.: Officers responded to a welfare check at a residence in Avery Township; a subject on scene was found to have an out of area warrant, he was brought to MCSO jail to pay the bond.
2:35 p.m.: A family dispute was reported in Albert Township; officers responded to the scene, the family members were separated, and officers cleared without incident.
3:45 p.m.: A real estate company in Albert Township called to request officers check on a property they have listed for sale, they were told there was someone squatting in the residence, an officer responded to find the property vacant.
4:38 p.m.: A report was made to MCSO Dispatch of speeding cars traveling on County Rd 489 in Albert Township. MCSO Deputies were advised.
8:57 p.m.: A report was made of subject breaking into a Chevrolet Pickup at the boat launch on Twin Lake in Avery Township. MCSO Deputies responded, suspects were gone. Investigation is ongoing.
11:23 p.m.: 911 call a vehicle in the ditch on County Rd 451 in Hillman Township. MCSO Deputies, Michigan DNR, Hillman Fire and EMS responded. One female was transported to the hospital.
Aug. 15
1:56 a.m.: Male subject reported a domestic dispute in Briley Township. MCSO Deputies responded. A male subject was found to be home and the female subject had left the scene. Deputies cleared the scene without incident.
7:43 a.m.: The manager of Tiger Paw Park called to report vandalism to the park, a deputy responded, under investigation at this time.
10:19 a.m.: A subject in Montmorency Township reported he was digging and hit a gas line, Hillman Fire and PIE&G responded to the scene.
11:28 a.m.: A trespass complaint was called into dispatch; an MSP Trooper responded to the scene, the subject was given a no trespass warning, all cleared without incident.
12:43 p.m.: A resident of Albert Township called 911 to report gunshots fired in the city limits of Lewiston, officers responded and a Lewiston resident was taken into custody and lodged.
6:26 p.m.: A Briley Township resident reported 4-wheeler trespassing on his property and did damage to a fence. Michigan DNR responded to call.
7:19 p.m.: Traffic stop was made on M-32 in Atlanta. One female was given citation for not having valid license.
9:09 p.m.: A female chocolate lab was dropped off at MCSO lobby. Subject found the lab running down M-32 near McMurphy Rd. Dog was taken to ECAS.
9:53 p.m.: Albert Township resident reported seeing suspicious subjects in her yard, requested deputies to respond. Upon arrival MCSO Deputies searched the area around her home and found no suspicious activity.
Aug. 16
1:37 a.m.: Michigan DNR Officer completed a traffic stop on County Rd 624 near Voyer Lake Rd in Hillman Township. One male was taken into custody for OWI.
12:01 p.m.: A one vehicle rollover in Vienna Township resulted in the driver being arrested for OWI; Tri Township Fire and EMS along with Vienna Fire all responded to the scene.
8:01 p.m.: A report of ORVs driving too fast in Briley Township in a residential area. Michigan DNR responded.
