July 6

3:36 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a residential alarm on Klein Rd in Rust Township. A deputy responded and all was found to be secure.

7:25 p.m.: MCSO received a residential alarm call on Kellyville Rd in Briley Township. A deputy responded to investigate. The residence was found to be secure.

July 7

4:12 p.m.: An officer responded to a complaint of neighbor kids shooting their pontoon with a BB gun and causing damage.

July 8

9:57 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on Pleasant Valley Rd traveling west in Avery Township. All units were advised but no one was in the area to intercept the vehicle.

3:37 p.m.: A deputy was requested for a welfare check on a female on Haymeadow Rd in Briley Township. The female was found to be OK.

7:25 p.m.: MCSO was advised of an erratic driver on M-32 traveling west in Avery Township. A deputy responded and checked the area for the vehicle described but he was unable to locate it.

July 9

9:33 a.m.: Deputies and EMS responded to a report of an elderly male laying in the roadway. He was transported to the hospital.

11:01 a.m.: A report came into MCSO Dispatch of items being stolen from refrigerators at Emerick Park in the Village of Hillman.

12:39 p.m.: MCSO deputies responded to a domestic dispute on Farrier Rd in Rust Township. The parties were already separated prior to law enforcement arrival.

6:20 p.m.: MCSO received a report of cattle out of their pen on Beechler Rd in Briley Township. MCSO deputy responded and cows were found back in their pen.

6:34 p.m.: Several 911 phone calls were received about several power lines and trees down throughout Albert Township. MCSO Deputies, Michigan DNR, Albert Township Fire Dept, Tri-Township Fire Dept, Lovells Fire Dept, Charlton Township Fire Dept, Vienna Fire Dept, and Presque Isle Electric and Gas all responded. Some roads had brief closures and road commission crews were able to remove the trees to open the roads back up.

6:40 p.m.: A report of a tree falling into a home on Clark St in Albert Township. No one was injured. Albert Township Fire and Presque Isle Electric CO responded.

6:49 p.m.: A report was made to MCSO Dispatch that the roof on Timbertown Lanes had damage. Witnesses state part of the roof came off and struck power line. Albert Township fire responded, and no injuries reported.

8:51 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a tree blocking the road on Co Rd 628 just East of M-33 N in Montmorency Township. Hillman fire was dispatched as a precaution. The road commission was advised, and the tree was removed.

10:13 p.m.: MCSO received report of fireworks being shot off on Pleasant Valley Rd in Hillman Township. MCSO Deputy responded and verbal warning was given.

July 10

4:25 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a residential alarm on Co Rd 612 in Albert Township. A deputy responded and found building secure.

7:29 a.m.: Dispatch was notified of a tree that fell on the power line and is blocking the road. Fire was dispatched and moved the tree. This was the same area that was affected the previous day.

3:59 p.m.: Deputies, EMS, and fire responded to a multiple vehicle accident on M-33 S just North of Genre Dr in Avery Township. Multiple passengers were transported to the hospital to be evaluated.

4:38 p.m.: MCSO received a commercial burglar alarm on State St in the Village of Hillman. A deputy responded and met with the key holder. All seemed to be as it should be.

5:22 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of another commercial burglar alarm on Bourn St in Albert Township. Law enforcement responded and found it to be a false alarm. The cleaning crew accidentally set it off.

9:31 p.m.: A deputy was advised of a noise complaint on M-32 in Rust Township. He checked the area when he passed through and heard no loud music at this time.

June 11

8:50 a.m.: Deputies responded to a dispute on Jesse Rd in Hillman Township. Parties were separated.

1:35 p.m.: Dispatch received a complaint that 2 bears are causing issues at a campground on Landing Rd in Rust Township. The DNR is looking into the issues.

2:43 p.m.: A deputy responded to Chauncey’s Pub in the Village of Hillman due to an employee finding a baggie with a white substance in it.

3:46 p.m.: Lewiston Fire Dept responded to a tree on a power line on County Rd 612.

9:12 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of people riding jet skis on Tee Lake and causing a wake on a no wake lake. The information was given to Oscoda Co.

9:53 p.m.: MCSO deputies were advised of people shooting off fireworks in Albert Township. They were unable to locate due to the fireworks ending prior to arrival.

July 12

1:31 p.m.: Lewiston fire responded to a tree on a power line. PIE&G was contacted.

3:41 p.m.: A deputy responded to a commercial burglar alarm on County Rd 489 in Albert Township. The alarm called back after a couple minutes and advised the homeowner was contacted. All units advised to disregard.
