2 more Presque Isle County residents infected

ALPENA — District Health Department No. 4 today reported two new Presque Isle County residents infected with the coronavirus.

The new infections push to 15 the total number of Presque Isle County residents infected since mid-March.

No more residents from Alpena, Montmorency, or Alcona counties were reported infected today.

As of 2 p.m. today, 111 Alpena County residents have tested positive for the coronavirus and 12 have died while infected.

Seven Montmorency County residents and 20 Alcona County residents have been infected. One Alcona County resident has died while infected.

Most infected Northeast Michiganders have already recovered, including 92 Alpena County residents, 12 Presque Isle County residents, five Montmorency County residents, and 10 Alcona County residents.

In Michigan, 69,722 have been infected, including 384 confirmed infected today. The state reported seven new deaths, which pushes the total statewide to 6,075.
