June 22

5:07 p.m.: MCSO received a nuisance bear complaint. All info was given to the DNR.

7:47 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a tree down on Cobb Road in Albert Township. The road commission was called and advised of the situation.

June 23

10:56 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a domestic dispute on Helen Ave in Briley Township. Deputies responded and the parties were separated.

3:57 p.m.: A 45-year-old male turned himself in on MCSO warrant. He was lodged.

10:55 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a residential burglar alarm on Co Rd 612 in Albert Township. Deputies responded to investigate. The residence was found to be secure.

11:23 p.m.: MCSO was advised of some branches in the roadway on Buttles Rd in Albert Township. The road commission was called and advised.

June 24

12:33 p.m.: Hillman Fire Department responded to a smell of gas in a residence.

1:04 p.m.: A trooper responded to a complaint of damage to property on Jerome St in Briley Township.

5:15 p.m.: MCSO Deputies arrested a male subject on felony firearms possession warrant. Male was taken into custody and lodged in MCSO Jail.

9:21 p.m.: MCSO Deputies arrested a female subject on misdemeanor warrant for domestic violence. Female was taken into custody and lodged in MCSO Jail.

9:38 p.m.: A call was received for a welfare check on a Hillman Township resident. MCSO deputies, Michigan DNR and Hillman EMS responded to the home and found subject in good health.

9:39 p.m.: Michigan DNR reported a tree down on CO RD 628 near Tomahawk Lake Road. Montmorency County Road Commission was contacted and responded to the area.

June 25

9:12 a.m.: Dispatch received a complaint of two horses out on Jackpine Trail in Briley Township. The owner was contacted and a MSP trooper responded.

12:39 p.m.: A deputy responded to an accident that involved a vehicle hitting a county truck that was doing road repair on Pleasant Valley Road in Hillman Township. There were no injuries. A 32-year-old female from Hillman was arrested for driving while license suspended.

5:28 p.m.: Deputies responded to a burglar alarm at a commercial business in Briley Township. The building was found to be secure.

6:27 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a motorcycle accident on Lake 15 Rd near the Atlanta High School. MCSO Deputies and Tri Township EMS responded. One male was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Investigation is still ongoing.

June 26

12:16 p.m.: MCSO received a trespassing complaint. Deputies and a trooper responded to investigate.

June 27

3:42 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a residential alarm on Trillium Trail in Albert Township. A deputy was dispatched. The alarm company called back after a couple minutes to advise it was an accidental activation by the homeowner. All units were advised to disregard.

4:57 p.m.: MCSO was notified of a residential fire alarm on Marius St in Albert Township. Fire was dispatched and there was no smoke/fire to be found.

June 28

8:35 p.m.: MCSO was advised of a power outage on Haydish Road and Co Rd 624 in Hillman Township. PIE&G was called. They advised it was only temporary while they were cutting down a tree and it would be back on shortly. All callers were advised of the situation.

9:59 p.m.: Dispatch received a noise complaint from a residence near the Crooked Lake Beach. A deputy responded and found everyone that was at the beach packing up to go home.

11:26 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on M-33 S traveling north into Montmorency County. Deputies responded and initiated a traffic stop on M-32 near Homestead Trail in Rust Township. Everything was found to be fine.
