Alpena teen killed in crash

ALPENA — A 16-year-old was ejected from his vehicle when it went off the pavement and rolled several times on a hilly stretch of Taylor Hawks Road near Rogers Road in Wilson Township on Tuesday afternoon.
The teen — who was the only occupant of the 2007 Kia Sorento — was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not identified by police.
Speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, which is still under investigation.
