2 more Alpena County residents infected

ALPENA — While most area coronavirus testing numbers remained flat, two more Alpena County residents were confirmed infected today, according to local health officials, bringing to 109 the number of county residents infected since mid-March.

No new recoveries or deaths were reported today.

Today’s Alpena-area numbers:

Positive tests: Alpena County residents, 109; Alcona County residents, 18; Presque Isle County residents, 12; Montmorency County residents, five.

Recoveries: Alpena County residents, 83; Alcona County residents, five; Presque Isle County residents, 11; Montmorency County residents, five.

Deaths: Alpena County residents, 12; Alcona County residents, one.

MediLodge of Alpena residents testing positive: 61, staff: 31, deaths: 9

MediLodge of Rogers City residents testing positive: one, staff: one.

Statewide, 63,870 positive tests results have been reported, along with 5,947 deaths. As of June 26, 51,099 Michiganders have recovered.
