1 more Alpena County resident recovers

ALPENA — Another Alpena County resident has recovered from COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, according to local health officials.

Of the 942 tests administered in the region thus far, 140 — or about 15% — have been positive.

Today’s Alpena-area numbers:

Positive tests: Alpena County residents, 105; Alcona County residents, 18; Presque Isle County residents, 12; Montmorency County residents, five.

Recoveries: Alpena County residents, 83; Alcona County residents, five; Presque Isle County residents, 11; Montmorency County residents, five.

Deaths: Alpena County residents, 12; Alcona County residents, one.

MediLodge of Alpena residents testing positive: 61, staff: 31, deaths: 9

MediLodge of Rogers City residents testing positive: 1, staff: 1

Statewide, 221 positive tests and 11 deaths were reported today.
