1 more Alpena County resident infected

ALPENA — Alpena County is four away from 100 cases of COVID-19 among its residents, with one new positive test in a county resident reported today, for a total of 96.

In the outlying counties, testing numbers remained the same, with 17 positive tests reported among Alcona County residents, and 11 and five positive tests reported among residents of Presque Isle and Montmorency counties, respectively.

No new recoveries and no new deaths were reported today in Northeast Michigan.

At least 1,277 tests have been administered to Northeast Michigan residents, producing 129 positives and 1,043 negatives.

Statewide, 58,035 positive tests and 5,570 total deaths have been reported, as well as 38,099 recoveries as of May 29.
