The Thunder Bay Transportation Authority is reducing the availability of its Dial-a-Ride buses beginning Tuesday.

The buses will provide rides from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. only, and will not be in operation on Saturdays and Sundays.

TBTA General Manager Andrew Sundin said rides will be available for appointments critical to life and health, but he said TBTA would like 24 hours’ notice for a ride outside the new schedule, or as much as advance notice as possible.

Sundin said the schedule will continue to be evaluated as the COVID-19 pandemic plays out.
