Post 7804 Commander Gerald Donajkowski demonstrates new chair lifts installed last week at the Veterans of Foreign Wars post in Posen. Its open hall, dance floor, and bar area have seen many important life moments for the community, hosting wedding receptions, family get-togethers, community dinners, and the like. Monthly breakfasts, held in the building’s basement since the 1980s, were off-limits to anyone who couldn’t navigate stairs until the installation of the stair lifts, paid for by VFW funds.
