Michigan State Police Trooper Ashley Simpson said the driver of a Chevy Equinox had a medical incident that caused them to drive across U.S.-23 into the McDonald’s parking lot and collide with another vehicle. The Chevy did minor damage to a guard rail at McDonald’s. That driver was transported to the hospital, while the driver of the other vehicle was uninjured.
