Cold-weather training coming to CRTC

Next week, a new cold-weather training called Winter Strike will take place at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center and Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, the Guard said in a news release. About 1,000 participants from across the U.S. and other nations will train on field artillery operations and airfield operations, as well as joint fires integration and close air support, the Guard said. Around the same time as Winter Strike, a U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command exercise, Emerald Warrior 20, will take place at the CRTC and Camp Grayling.
