A man involved in an Oct. 26 crash that killed an Oscoda woman was arrested Friday on a charge of operating while intoxicated causing death.

Louis Barch, 49, of Spruce, turned himself in to the Michigan State Police after a felony warrant was issued by the Alcona County prosecutor for the crash on Hubbard Lake Road near Scott Drive.

The crash killed 71-year-old Jane Lauber of Oscoda. Her husband, 82-year-old Benjamin Lauber, survived the crash.

Barch was released on a $50,000 personal recognizance bond with conditions for alcohol monitoring.
