Oct. 15

3:14 p.m.: During a traffic stop on M-33 in Avery Township a 32-year-old female from Lewiston was arrested for driving while license suspended.

Oct. 16

7:30 a.m.: An adjoining county called to request mutual aid for a deer vehicle collision that occurred in their county, an MSP Trooper assisted them and took the report.

9:26 a.m.: A resident of Albert Township called to report he found a bike in his ditch; he will keep it there in case someone claims it.

10 a.m.: A resident of Briley Township came to the sheriff’s department to inform us his tree stand had been stolen off of state land.

2:13 p.m.: A female driver called to report an erratic driver in Avery Township, the truck was stopped, and the driver was found to be intoxicated, he was arrested and lodged.

6:39 p.m.: A report of a tree across the power line on Baker Rd in Briley Township. Tri Township Fire and PIE&G responded the issue was resolved.

7:15 p.m.: A report of a tree across the power line on Rea Rd in Hillman Township. Hillman Fire responded, found tree had cleared the line and power was still on.

8:25 p.m.: A report of a tree on the east bound lane of M-32. Tri-Township Fire personnel removed tree.

Oct. 17

2:43 a.m.: A report of a residential fire alarm came into MCSO Dispatch. MCSO Deputies responded to find home secure.

5:06 p.m.: An Albert Township resident called to report he had a mechanical issue with his vehicle and hit his neighbors’ fence; no injury reported, a deputy responded to take his report.

Oct. 18

8:22 a.m.: A 2-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of M-32 and M-33 N in Briley Township. No injuries were reported.

11:10 a.m.: A 2-vehicle accident was reported on Progress St in front of Team Elmer’s in the Village of Hillman. EMS, Fire, and law enforcement responded. A 35-year-old female reported minor injuries and refused transport to the hospital. All clear at 12:03 p.m.

4:20 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on M-32 westbound near Hall Rd in Avery Township. A deputy responded to the area but was unable to locate said vehicle.

Oct. 19

7:13 p.m.: MCSO received report of fireworks in the Village of Hillman. A deputy checked the area but did not located any fireworks at that time.

Oct. 20

2:32 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a suspicious person at a residence on Morningstar Lake Rd in Briley Township. Deputies responded to investigate and found the male to be lost. He was transported to MCSO to wait for someone to pick him up. A tow truck was contacted for his vehicle.

9:32 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a residential burglar alarm on Vincent Ln in Briley Township. The homeowner was called, and she advised that it was a false alarm.

8:48 p.m.: A deputy initiated a routine traffic stop on M-33 S near Hall Rd in Avery Township. A 26-year-old male was taken into custody for driving while suspended. He was lodged.

Oct. 21

2:27 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a suspicious vehicle near the Redwood Steakhouse in Albert Township. A deputy responded to investigate. All was found to be okay and the owner of the vehicle was staying at the hotel. All clear at 3:06 a.m.
