A crash on Chisholm Street Monday evening sent two to the hospital.

The News reported the crash in Tuesday’s paper, indicating that at least one person had been transported to the hospital.

A news release from Alpena Police Department Tuesday indicated that a sports-utility vehicle was leaving a streetside parking space on Chisholm when it was hit by a sedan heading north. The SUV was flung off the road, striking a parked minivan, straddling the sidewalk, and crashing nose-first into the brick wall and glass window of a business.

Drivers from both vehicles were transported to MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena for minor injuries.
