It wasn’t immediately clear if anyone was injured after a three-car rollover crash at the intersection of Ripley Boulevard and 3rd Avenue Wednesday at about 12:30 p.m.

Alpena police and firefighters, the Michigan State Police, and Alpena ambulance crews responded.

Fire crews needed to cut the windshield out of the overturned vehicle to help the passenger exit, which he did under his own power.

Police diverted traffic away from the scene at the busy intersection.

The cause of the accident and any injuries are unknown at this time.
