July 22

9:41 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a domestic issue not in progress on State St in the Village of Hillman. Deputies responded to investigate. A 47-year-old male was taken into custody for domestic violence. He was lodged.

11:02 a.m.: MCSO was advised of a physical dispute not in progress on Co Rd 489 in Briley Township. Deputies responded to investigate. Both males were advised to stay away from each other.

5:25 p.m.: MCSO was contacted by Alpena Co for a warrant pick up. A MCSO deputy met an Alpena deputy at the county line. A 31-year-old male was transported to the jail and he was lodged.

July 23

8:30 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a commercial burglar alarm on S Co Rd 489 in Albert Township. Deputies responded. The alarm company then called back to advise it was a false alarm. The deputies were notified to disregard.

2:23 p.m.: Two deputies took into custody a 55-year-old male with a MCSO warrant. He was lodged.

8:55 p.m.: Dispatch was notified of a commercial burglar alarm on Hanson St in Albert Township. Deputies and a conservation officer responded. Everything seemed to be as it should be and a keyholder went to the building to make sure.

10:58 p.m.: MCSO was notified of a single vehicle accident on M-32 near Co Rd 491 in Vienna Township. Law enforcement, EMS, and fire all responded. A female was transported to the hospital to be treated.

July 24

4:59 a.m.: MCSO received a call about a vehicle in the ditch on Co Rd 612 near Hunt Creek Rd in Loud Township. Deputies responded to investigate. Alert Township Fire Department and Tri Township Ambulance responded, the driver was transported to the hospital for his injuries, deputies didn’t clear the scene until 10:03.

5:55 a.m.: MCSO dispatch received multiple 911 calls regarding a structure fire in the Village of Hillman, no one was home at the time of the fire, Hillman and Tri Township Fire responded along with Hillman Ambulance and law enforcement.

8:35 a.m.: A male subject was arrested on a probation violation and lodged at MCSO jail.

2:51 p.m.: A passerby called to report the doors open on a seasonal residence in Briley Township, the door was found to be secure just the screen door was broken.

7:02 p.m.: Hillman Village resident called in report of a possible domestic situation going on. MCSO deputies along with Michigan State Police responded and found no domestic in progress. Deputies cleared scene.

7:20 p.m.: Gaylord City PD called to request assistance from MCSO deputies for a possible hit and run. MCSO deputies responded to the location of the vehicle and it is an ongoing investigation.

10:02 p.m.: Briley Township resident reported a possible break-in in progress. MCSO deputies responded and found that it was unfounded.

July 25

10:18 a.m.: MCSO deputy was requested for civil standby in Vienna Township.

11:10 a.m.: MCSO deputy did a welfare check on a female in Rust Township. Female was found in good condition.

11:15 a.m.: Report of a 2-car accident on M 32 & CO RD 491. Tri Township EMS/Fire and MCSO deputies responded. All parties were released, and no one was transported to the hospital.

11:36 a.m.: Erratic driver reported southbound M 33; no units in the area.

July 26

9:31 a.m.: A 33-year-old male was transported from the courthouse to MCSO jail to serve time. He was lodged.

1:11 p.m.: MCSO received a call about 2 kids throwing rocks, which resulted in some broken windows. A deputy responded to investigate and speak with the children.

6 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on M-32 traveling West toward Atlanta. A deputy attempted to locate the vehicle described but was unable.

7:30 p.m.: MCSO was advised of a suspicious, possibly intoxicated male laying on the beach on Co Rd 487 in Briley Township. A deputy and a conservation officer responded and found everything to be okay.

8:15 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a physical dispute at Clear Lake State Park in Montmorency Township. Deputies responded to speak with the people involved. They were all advised to keep it calm for the night.

10:47 p.m.: A deputy came across an intoxicated male walking on Pleasant Valley Rd near Funk Rd in Hillman Township. The deputy made sure the subject made it home safely.

July 27

12:44 p.m.: MCSO was advised of a verbal dispute in Albert Township. Deputies were advised and it was found to be a civil issue.

1:24 p.m.: During a routine traffic stop, a deputy took into custody a 22-year-old male for operating an ATV with a suspended license. He was lodged.

9:09 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a verbal dispute on Co Rd 489 in Briley Township. A deputy responded and the situation was resolved. The parties were separated for the night.

10:06 p.m.: MCSO was advised of a noise complaint on Red Bridge Dr in Avery Township. A deputy responded to investigate. This complaint was unfounded.

July 28

1:36 a.m.: Another jurisdiction took into custody a 55-year-old male with a MCSO warrant. A MCSO deputy met an Otsego Co deputy at the county line and the male was transported to the jail. He was lodged.

4:30 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a verbal dispute on M-33 N, possibly near Reimann Rd in Briley Township. Deputies looked in the area but did not hear or see anything.

12:04 p.m.: A DNR officer and a deputy were requested to assist Oscoda County deputies on a complaint where a male subject used a gun to threaten another male subject.

12:19 p.m.: A deputy and Tri Township Fire Dept responded to a 2 vehicle accident on State St in Atlanta. No one was injured.

1:15 p.m.: Dispatch received a complaint from Alpena County 911 of an erratic driver on M-32 driving east towards Hillman. A deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.

3:54 p.m.: Deputies responded to a residential burglar alarm in Rust Township. Residence was secure.

5:47 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a dispute on Kneeland St in Albert Township. Deputies responded to investigate. The parties were separated, and the male was warned for trespassing.

7:19 p.m.: MCSO was advised of 2 suspicious males near the Clear Lake day use area in Montmorency Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate anyone.

July 29

1:33 a.m.: MCSO received a call about a suspicious female at the Sunrise gas station in Albert Township. A deputy responded to investigate. The complaint was turned over to Oscoda Co for something else that happened in their county.
