One hurt in pair of Monday afternoon wrecks

Alpena Police Officer Andrew Smith said the woman driver had a seizure while driving, which caused her to go off the roadway and hit the sign. The woman was transported to MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena for medical attention.
News Photo by Crystal Nelson No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday on Chisholm Street near 5th Avenue. The driver of a white Jeep was rear-ended by the driver of a silver pickup truck while stopped on southbound Chisholm, according to officials with the Alpena Police Department who responded to the scene. The city’s ambulance also responded, but as a precaution.
