Eastwood Auto reopens

Pete Eastwood has reopened his Eastwood Auto Works after a nine-year hiatus during which Eastood was the auto service instructor at Alpena Community College, Eastwood said in a news release.

The shop, in the same U.S.-23 South building Eastwood built in 1996, has been modernized with electrical and computer diagnostics equipment and other upgrades, the release said.

Eastwood, 61, said he enjoyed teaching but hopes to keep fixing automobiles “until circumstances preclude it.”
