June 24

12:26 a.m.: MCSO deputies responded to a residence in Albert Township for a welfare check reported by a concerned family member. The owner of the home was found safe.

2:10 a.m.: Albert Township residential fire alarm was activated, Lewiston Fire and MCSO responded. False alarm

2:36 p.m.: MCSO received a complaint about shoplifting in Albert Township. A deputy responded and is still investigating.

June 26

8:15 a.m.: A resident of the Village of Hillman called and requested to speak with the DNR in reference to an ongoing issue with bears in the village, DNR was notified.

7:06 p.m.: MCSO deputies responded to a dispute in Hillman Township between family members. Issue was resolved with no arrests.

8:47 p.m.: A resident of Hillman Township reported a biker ran off the road on County Rd 459. MSCO deputies and Hillman EMS responded.

9:07 p.m.: Albert Township resident reported a man walking down CO RD 489 appears to be intoxicated and not safe. MCSO responded and subject could not be located.

9:27 p.m.: Briley Township resident called to report neighbor shooting off fireworks and disturbing the peace.

June 27

7:35 a.m.: The DNR contacted us in reference to a prescribed burn they were doing that day in Otsego County near Montmorency County.

3:58 p.m.: A male subject was lodged at MCSO to serve time.

4:57 p.m.: A report of an erratic driver was called into MCSO, an officer was in the area and attempted to locate the vehicle but was unable to do so.

6:21 p.m.: Albert Township resident reported erratic driver driving on State St in Lewiston. DNR officer in the area unable to locate vehicle.

6:54 p.m.: Deputies called to a civil standby in Hillman Township.

7:30 p.m.: Female in the lobby reports that someone backed into her vehicle while in the Village of Hillman. MCSO deputy investigated, no citation was given.

9:34 p.m.: 911 call reporting a civil dispute Village of Hillman. MSCO deputies responded, investigation found that the situation started in Presque Isle County. Case transferred to Presque Isle County.

June 29

6:17 p.m.: Dispatch received a report of a male at the Atlanta BP who was believed to have a warrant for his arrest. Officers responded and a 34-year-old male from Atlanta was taken into custody for having 3 warrants out of MCSO.

9:21 p.m.: An intoxicated 21-year-old male from Wolverine was dropped off at the Lewiston Fire/EMS station. A deputy responded and was able to locate his mother to pick him up.

9:39 p.m.: Dispatch received a 911 call from a female saying that she was being followed by her ex-husband. An officer was able to locate ex-husband and make a traffic stop. The male was given a warning.

11:23 p.m.: Deputies and a DNR officer responded to a neighbor dispute over shooting off fireworks in Briley Township. During the investigation a 59-year-old male from Atlanta was arrested for discharging a firearm while intoxicated.

June 30

3:19 a.m.: Dispatch received a report of an assault that occurred at Avery Lake State Park. The female was being taken to Lewiston EMS and the male had left the campground. The female had minor injuries and was released. A warrant request was issued for the male subject.

10:03 p.m.: Dispatch received a complaint of unsafe shooting off of fireworks in Briley Township. A deputy responded and could not find anything unsafe.

10:30 p.m.: Deputies responded to Chauncey’s Pub for a report of a hit-and-run in the parking lot. Suspect was located and insurance information was exchanged for a private property accident.

10:34 p.m.: A deputy responded to a dog complaint on Baker Rd in Briley Township. A citation was given to the dog owner for animals at large.

11:35 p.m.: Deputies responded to a residence in Vienna Township for a report of a suicidal 18 year old female. The female was taken to the hospital by her guardian.
