Georgies Wrecker Service worked 45 minutes Tuesday morning to disconnect two vehicles that had gotten stuck together at a crash in front of Culver’s on West Washington Avenue in Alpena Township. The driver of a Ford F-150, who said he was distracted by his little white dog, Pipsy, was too slow in hitting the brakes as he approached a red light and slammed into the back of a black Jeep, wedging his front end between the Jeep’s trailer hitch and spare tire. The impact deployed the F-150’s airbag, causing minor injuries to the driver’s face and wrist. Pipsy and the Jeep’s driver were unharmed.
