The Charter Township of Alpena Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S.-23 South at about 3 p.m. Wednesday. A truck traveling northbound ran into the back of a FedEx delivery truck, which veered off the highway. The driver of the truck was transported to MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena. The Michigan State Police and the Alpena County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
