Alpena Clerk/Treasurer Anna Soik gives the oath of office to four Alpena firemen who were promoted on Wednesday. Fire Chief Bill Forbush, left, looks on as Harold Knopp and Andy Marceau officially became captains and Jim Stachlewitz and Michael Sanders became lieutenants. City staff and family members were on-hand to celebrate the promotions and enjoy a snack after the ceremony was over.
