Alpena High School graduate Garrett Francis was named the president of VAM USA, a premium threading division of Vallourec Group.

He will start his new position on Jan. 1, leadING the safety, quality, research development, and operations of the company’s premimum facilities in Houston and Youngstown, Ohio. Francis is currently the vice president of operations for Vallourec Star.
