ATLANTA — Huron Undercover Narcotics Team executed simultaneous search warrants at three illegal marijuana dispensaries in Atlanta Thursday. The businesses were selling the drug in various forms, such as syrup, cooking oils, candies and marijuana-infused products.

The store’s dispensaries were operating without regard to the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act.

Officers seized money, a firearm and a large amount of marijuana, including candy bars, gummy bears, cookies, brownies, as well as THC pills and infused maple syrup and butter.

HUNT officers were assisted by Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement Team, Traverse Narcotics Team, Strike Team Investigative Narcotic Group, Montmorency Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police-Alpena Post and MSP 7th District Intelligence Analysts.
