June 1

3:17 AM A subject was reported pounding on a resident’s door in Montmorency Township. A deputy responded and spoke with the individual who then left the property.

1:26 PM A welfare check was requested in Briley Township. A deputy responded and the parties were okay.

2:14 PM An injured deer was reported on the side of the road in Albert Township. A deputy responded.

2:15 PM A stray dog was reported in Rust Township. A deputy responded and took the dog to the shelter.

6:56 PM A trespass request was made in Briley Township. The male was issued a trespass warning and advised if he goes back to the property, he can be arrested.

June 2

1:04 AM A welfare check was requested in Hillman Township. Deputies responded and the party was okay.

8:30 AM A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Vienna Township. A report was made.

4:42 PM An erratic driver was reported in Viena Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the vehicle.

6:35 PM A disorderly hitchhiker was reported yelling and making obscene gestures towards passing vehicles in Albert Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the individual.

6:36 PM A hit and run was reported in Briley Township. A deputy responded and a report was made.

June 3

12:29 AM A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Vienna Township. A report was made.

1:25 AM A suspicious person was seen walking down the road in Albert Township. Deputies responded and checked on the individual. Later, the individual called and said someone tried to pick him up in a van. Deputies returned to the individual to speak with him about it.

9:37 AM A welfare check was requested on a resident of Montmorency Township. A deputy responded to find no one was home at the residence. Later contact was made with the subject.

10:26 AM While on routine patrol, a deputy witnessed a two-vehicle crash in Hillman Township. No injuries were reported; a report was taken.

11:54 AM An adjoining agency notified dispatch they had contact with a subject that was showing warrants out of Montmorency County. A deputy met theirs at the county line and transported the subject to Alpena Jail.

12:32 PM The manager of an apartment complex in Albert Township called to have a male subject trespassed from the property. Deputies were able to make contact with the male, and he was provided a trespass warning.

1:19 PM A black lab was picked up in Albert Township running loose; it was taken to ECAS.

1:29 PM A welfare check was requested on a resident of Hillman Township. A deputy responded, contact was made with a family member; the subject was found to be fine.

1:46 PM Atlanta DNR plane located a wild land fire in Albert Township. Albert Township Fire Department assisted with putting the fire out.

June 4

8:32 PM An erratic driver was reported in Hillman Township. A deputy responded to the area after being provided with the vehicle’s description and location but was unable to locate it.

11:15 PM Deputies were requested to a residence in Briley Township after a report of trespassing. Upon arrival, the subject believed to be on the property was not there.

June 5

4:23 PM A welfare check is requested in Hillman Township. Deputies responded and the subject was okay.

5:03 PM An abandoned vehicle is reported in Hillman Township. Deputies responded, and the owners were found.

10:58 PM Multiple gunshots were heard in Hillman Township. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the origin of the shots.

11:20 PM A residential burglary alarm was reported in Albert Township. A deputy responded and the property was secure.

June 6

4:59 AM A trespasser is reported in Briley Township. Deputies responded throughout the day in different locations and the subject was trespassed from the residence.

5:33 PM A vehicle/deer is reported in Montmorency Township. A report was made.

5:58 PM A VIN inspection is requested in Loud Township. A deputy responded.

7:51 PM A VIN inspection is requested in Briley Township. A deputy responded.

9:05 PM An erratic driver is reported in Hillman Township. Deputies responded and originally could not locate the vehicle, but the vehicle was later found and the driver was given a warning.

10:50 PM A welfare check is requested in Montmorency Township. Multiple deputies responded but were unable to locate the subject. The subject returned home sometime later.

11:50 PM A commercial burglary alarm is reported in Briley Township. Multiple deputies responded and the building was secure.

June 7

4:38 AM A commercial burglary alarm is reported in Briley Township. A deputy responded and the building was secure.

5:00 AM A noise complaint was made in Albert Township stating a party had been going all throughout the night. A deputy responded and told the partygoers to keep the noise down.

2:58 PM A trespasser is reported in Albert Township. A deputy responded and spoke with the trespasser.

7:53 PM A trespass request is made in Albert Township. A deputy spoke with and trespassed the trespasser.
