ALPENA — MIShores, a local beach cleanup group, is seeking volunteers to help clean up pollution in the Blair Street Beach area. A cleanup is planned for Wednesday at 7 a.m. A flat shovel is all that people need to bring to help out. MiShores said a lot of help from the public is needed and added it could take several clean-up days to clean the local beach.
