ALPENA — On Monday, MyMichigan Obstetrics and Gynecology will relocate to the second floor of MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena, according to a MyMichigan Health press release.

The medical practice office will move from its current location in the Health Plex building to the Medical Center’s updated second floor and its two central unit. This space will serve as a temporary home for MyMichigan Obstetrics and Gynecology while the Health Plex undergoes renovations this summer.

MyMichigan Health stated that the hospital-based location will improve the patient experience, support more efficient workflows for staff, and provide a modern environment for the care of OB/Gyn patients.

The MyMichigan Obstetrics and Gynecology office phone number and service hours are the same.

Patients have been notified of the changes. Signage within the MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena will direct individuals to the central elevator for easy access to the second floor.

“The staff of MyMichigan Obstetrics and Gynecology are looking forward to welcoming patients to the new location, which supports the continued delivery of high-quality, personalized, and compassionate care,” MyMichigan stated in the release. “The team also wishes to extend its sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to planning and completing the project.”
