ALPENA — As of Thursday afternoon, Golf Course Road, west of the intersection of Golf Course Road and Genschaw Road, is closed due to a culvert failure, according to a press release from Alpena County Emergency Operations.

The surrounding areas and roadways of this closure also have been experiencing significant levels of flooding.
