ALPENA — Beginning Monday, MyMichigan Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine, sleep disorders lab, and respiratory care will relocate to a newly renovated space on the third floor of MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena.

The medical practice offices and clinics will move from their current location in the HealthPlex building to the Medical Center’s updated 3 South Unit. The newly renovated area will serve as the new home for MyMichigan Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine, Sleep Disorders Lab, and Respiratory Care. The enhanced space is designed to improve the patient experience, support more efficient workflows for staff and provide a modern environment for care delivery.

To ensure a smooth transition, departments will relocate in phases with MyMichigan Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine moving on March 16. Sleep Disorders Lab, along with Respiratory Care will move in a phased approach in the next few weeks.

The relocation will not affect office phone numbers or service hours.

Patients have been notified of the changes. Signage within the Medical Center will direct individuals to the South elevator, located across from the chapel, to access the 3 South Unit.

The staff of MyMichigan Pulmonology & Sleep Medicine, Sleep Disorders Lab, and Respiratory Care look forward to welcoming patients to the new location, which supports the continued delivery of high-quality, personalized and compassionate care. The teams also extend sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to planning and completing the project.
