9:35 a.m. A vehicle in a ditch is reported in Avery Township. A deputy responded and a report was made.

10:25 a.m. A deputy transported an inmate to Alpena Co jail from court with a Montmorency County warrant.

11:48 a.m. A deputy transported 2 inmates to Alpena Co jail from court, 1 for sentencing and 1 for probation violation.

2:07 p.m. A welfare check is requested in Hillman Township. A deputy responded and everyone was okay.

4:40 p.m. A vehicle in the ditch is reported in Avery Township. A deputy responded. No damage to the vehicle.

Feb. 24

7:55 a.m. A vehicle accident is reported in Briley Township. A deputy responded and a report was made.

5:07 p.m. A vehicle/deer crash is reported in Loud Township. A report was made.

8:46 p.m. A single vehicle slide off was reported on Co Rd 612 in Albert Township. A deputy responded, and a report was made.

Feb. 25

7:55 a.m. A two vehicle crash was reported in Albert Township. An MSP Trooper was in the area and responded to the scene to take the report. No injuries were reported.

1:37 p.m. A welfare check was requested on a Montmorency Township resident. A deputy responded to the residence; the subject was found to be fine, just not feeling well.

7:12 p.m. An MSP trooper conducted a traffic stop in Albert Township. The vehicle did not have insurance. The driver was issued a citation and court date.

Feb. 26

7:56 a.m. Progressive Insurance called to report a two-vehicle crash in Albert Township. A deputy responded to the scene, but there were no vehicles on the scene. The subjects later called the department to report the incident, as they had both left the scene prior to the deputy’s arrival.

8:35 p.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Loud Township; a report was taken.

Feb. 27

12:12 a.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Hillman Township; a report was taken. A deputy responded to the area to dispatch the deer, but it was gone prior to arrival.

3:33 p.m. Dispatch received a report of a larceny of a residence in Albert Twp. An officer responded to take a report.

3:54 p.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Vienna Township. A deputy responded and dispatched the deer

Feb. 28

6:36 p.m. Dispatch was notified by Alpena County Dispatch that an MSP trooper was out with a 34-year-old female that has a warrant out of MCSO. The subject was taken into custody and lodged.

11:21 p.m. During a traffic stop on M-33 in Avery Twp a 58-year-old male from Ira Michigan was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant. He was lodged in the Alpena County Jail.
