9:23 a.m. A welfare check is requested in Albert Township. A trooper responded and spoke on phone with the subject, then advised reporting party.

11:59 a.m. An erratic driver is reported in Hillman Township. A deputy responds.

3:37 p.m. A breaking and entering is reported in Albert Township. A deputy responds.

4:09 p.m. A 2-vehicle crash is reported in Briley Township. A deputy responds, and a report is made.

8:08 p.m. A suspicious pair of keys is reported in Briley Township. Deputies respond and return the keys to their owner.

Feb. 10

1:24 a.m. A suspicious person is reported in Briley Township. Deputies responded and checked on them.

2:12 p.m. A stolen license plate was reported in Vienna Township. A deputy responded.

4:24 p.m. An injured dog is reported in Montmorency Township. A deputy responded and took the dog to the shelter.

5:21 p.m. a vehicle/deer crash is reported in Avery Township. A report was made.

10:07 p.m. A lost person calls asking for assistance in getting to a motel. Deputies responded and transported her to the nearest motel.

Feb. 11

12:43 a.m. A commercial burglar alarm was reported in Hillman Township. An officer responded to the scene.

07:37 a.m. A single vehicle in the ditch with no injuries was reported. An MSP Trooper responded to the scene to take the report.

10:12 a.m. A passerby called to report a vehicle in the ditch in Hillman Township. A deputy responded to the scene along with Hillman Fire and EMS. No injuries were reported.

Feb. 12

6:53 a.m. A deputy was requested to Briley Township for a vehicle that was a road hazard; a deputy responded but the vehicle was gone prior to his arrival.

11:32 a.m. A commercial burglar alarm was reported in Briley Township. Deputies responded to the scene to find the building hadn’t been locked. They searched the building and no one was inside. The building was secured, and the deputies cleared the scene.

5:21 p.m. A welfare check was requested on a resident of the Village of Hillman. A deputy responded to the residence and spoke with the subject. She was found to be fine.

5:58 p.m. A resident reported an erratic driver westbound in Vienna Township. Otsego dispatch was advised as well as MCSO deputies.

Feb. 13

10:17 a.m. a deputy transported a male subject who was sentenced to the Alpena County jail.

12:31 a.m. A possible intoxicated driver was reported in Albert Township after swerving all over the roadway. A deputy responded to the area but was unable to locate the vehicle described.

1:27 a.m. A deputy conducted a motorist assist in Vienna Township. The driver had been up for a while and pulled to the side of the road to sleep. The deputy directed the male to a safer location to pull off and cleared without incident.

9:56 a.m. A private property vehicle crash is reported in Briley Township. A deputy responded.

10:17 a.m. A deputy transported a prisoner to and from court for sentencing.

1:30 p.m. A welfare check was requested in Briley Township. A deputy responded and left the subject a voicemail after going to their address.

7:36 p.m. A camper on the side of the road is reported in Avery Township. Deputies were advised, but unable to locate.

7:45 p.m. A vehicle/deer crash is reported in Loud Township. A report was made.

Feb. 14

3:43 a.m. A concerned party called to report an elderly man confused on how to get home. A trooper responded but was unable to locate the subject.

4:18 p.m. Dispatch received a 911 hang up, deputies responded to the address in Rust Twp. There had been a verbal dispute, but deputies cleared the scene without incident.

Feb. 15

6:20 p.m. A welfare check is requested in Albert Township. A deputy responds and the subject is good.
