Local Girl Scouts earn awards

The new Rainbow Bridge at the Alpena County Fairgrounds was the Silver Project for local Girl Scouts Kenna Mousseau and Anna Leddy. It’s the second highest award that a Girl Scout can earn. The bridge was constructed for grieving pet owners so they can place pet collars, tags and other items on the bridge as a way to honor and remember their pets. A flower garden will be planted around the bridge in the spring.
