Target Alpena and the Lake Huron Regional Development Corporation are hosting a Free Housing Expo designed to support first-time homebuyers, renters transitioning into ownership, and residents seeking guidance on navigating today’s housing market. The event will take place today from 5 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The APlex.

This community-focused event will bring together local lenders, real estate professionals, homebuyer assistance counselors, and housing support organizations. Attendees will receive practical guidance on budgeting, mortgage readiness, improving credit, down payment assistance programs, and understanding the full home-buying process from start to finish.

The expo will feature:

– Resource Fair highlighting services and support available in Northeast Michigan

– Affordable Housing Workshops with step-by-step guidance on the buying process

– Market insight from local experts on pricing trends and inventory

– Hors d’oeuvres and door prizes, free to all attendees
